Well – the calendar says our summer break is just about over. School starts back for us next MONDAY! The last 2 and half months have absolutely flown by. My son and I traveled to Brevard, NC for our last “hurrah” of summer last week. While there, I met up with a couple former classmates of mine and photographed their two little ones. D & M, it was great seeing you guys again and meeting your beautiful children. It’s hard to believe we are all grown up now, with kids, minivans, and station wagons.

Since I have specifically chosen to not do weddings and find my own little niche in child photography – I get overlooked for teen sessions it seems! BUT – I will shoot them… with my Canon no less. OK, I apologize for the lame photog joke. That’s my way of saying I’m available for teen and high school senior portrait sessions.
Anyway, with the start of school right around the corner, be on the lookout for specials involving teens in the month of September. Here’s a few from my teen debut – in picturesque downtown Lincolnton.

I will be in Brevard for a few days the first week of August. I’ve had several former classmates express interest in my photography – SO – now the ball is in their court!
Here are the details:
- Sessions are available Aug 4-7
- Sessions last ~30 minutes.
- Fee is $250 +tax, and includes your favorite 10 images on disc with reproduction rights up to 8×10. You will also receive a 5×7 of each digital file selected.
- Payment is due at time of booking.
- Sessions must take place in Transylvania or Henderson County.
- Special offer cannot be used for newborn or maternity sessions
- receive a 15% discount on other prints and products from Catherine Keene Photography.
