My 5 year old graduated from kindergarten this past Thursday; summertime has officially begun for Catherine Keene Photography! We observed our Memorial Day weekend by doing a few of our very favorite things together as a family – one of which is stopping by the peach stand (which is so much more than a “stand” now that it has been featured in Southern Living magazine a couple times) and buying up way too much fruit than we could possibly eat. We left with a bucket of strawberries, a bag of early peaches, and a big yummy watermelon.
They also keep a good stock of fresh vegetables as well as blackberries later on in the summer. They have cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes available already.
So, if you’re up for a scenic drive out of the Charlotte area, hop on I-85 south and take the SC Hwy 11 exit. Keep driving until you see the big white shed, on the left. You can’t miss it.
