Alright, I’m kidding. Work brought the husband east, and the family conveniently tagged along for a getaway. This is another mama from an online pregnancy forum we joined back in 2003/2004. We’ve kept in touch all these years (thank you Facebook!) and we finally managed to get her entire family in front of my camera. Her youngest was almost born in time for me to photograph her when we did our cross-country road trip back in 2008, but she waited just a tad too long and we had to be on our way, heading west from Missouri.
Amber, I’m so glad we made this happen. Even under less than ideal conditions (it was FREEZING and WINDY the day we had picked for the session), your family was such a joy to photograph. I know our paths will cross again in the future – I just hope it’s not before too long. :)
I am so happy with how wonderful these turned out. It might have been a good thing we had such little time and horrible conditions because I would never be able to choose favorite pictures.
