Lil’ Grandfather is a little over 20 miles north of North Wilkesboro on NC Hwy 18.  They have tractor/hay rides, pony rides, concessions (hot chocolate and coffee!!), and all sorts of premade garland and wreaths.  You can usually find Santa hanging around there too.  This was our sixth year visiting – and while the weather was not ideal – it was yet another memorable trip to get the family tree.  :)

It’s getting late, and I think I hear the Tooth Fairy knocking lightly on my door…

I got a note today from a client who just saw her gallery. I’m thankful that, as a photographer, I’m in a position for God to send me these affirmations that what I’m doing is good and that it is meaningful to others.

“I just wanted to tell you how WONDERFUL we think the pictures are. I sent them to ____ at work so he could look at them, and he called me immediately to tell me how much he loved them and to tell me how talented he thinks you are. We think you are just an amazing photographer and have a special gift! Thanks so much for working with us.”

I *heart* my clients!!! :)
